How did it all start….
Well…this post is quite a personal one. I would like to start off by introducing myself. Hello everyone, I am Micheal, a B.E IT graduate from Fr.C.R.I.T. I founded my design studio back in July 2008 called Vision Master Designs (www.visionmasterdesigns.com). It was a portfolio cum tech blog. It received a lot of pageviews, so I thought I`ll make a quick buck from the site. I wanted to monetize my site and didn`t know where to start, looked at many options such as Google Adsense, Chitika, Kontera, Performance Ads, Ad Onion etc. but greedy as I am, I wanted a much a better system to control my Adspace, so decided to write my own WordPress plugin called My AD Manager.
My AD Manager plugin for WordPress was developed in 2 weeks. It was very basic, had the option of buying ads directly from the blog via Paypal (had integrated paypal checkout) and was a big success ! I started receiving lot of feedback and it made my feel that I should make it much better.
Now, after a year of launching the plugin, My AD Manager Online was launched. It expands the horizon by supporting integration with any website and not just WordPress blogs. Besides that, it also has a host of features to help you moniter and manage your website’s adspace.
